# Utuh

> Utuh is a zero-hardware fleet management platform — compliance,
> checklists, maintenance, cost tracking, and safety — for Malaysian
> SME operators of trucks, motorbikes, and cars. No GPS boxes, no
> hardware installation — it runs from a web browser (owner/dashboard)
> and a phone browser (drivers), live in a day.

## What it does

- Compliance vault: tracks road tax, PUSPAKOM inspection, insurance,
  and permit expiry dates per vehicle, with escalating email reminders
  before a deadline is missed.
- Driver checklists: pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  completed from the driver's own phone via a link — no app install,
  no driver account to create.
- Component health + dispatch guardrail: each vehicle's critical
  components (tyres, brakes, etc.) carry a green/yellow/red status; a
  red status blocks that vehicle from a new pre-trip dispatch until
  resolved or overridden with a logged reason.
- Maintenance log: service history and preventive work scheduling,
  tagged by component and vendor.
- Cost tracking: fuel and repair receipt logging (owner-manual or
  driver self-entry with photo-based OCR autofill), cost-per-km
  analytics, fuel economy tracking.
- Incident reporting + one-tap SOS: a panic button on the driver's
  phone that captures location and notifies the owner's emergency
  contact.
- ICOP compliance module: for Malaysian Carrier Permit A holders
  (operators carrying third-party goods for hire/reward), supports the
  SPAD/APAD Industry Code of Practice requirements layered on top of
  the core product.

## What it deliberately does NOT do

- No GPS hardware, live vehicle tracking, or telematics installation
  of any kind — this is explicitly a non-goal, not a missing feature.
- No collection of clinical health data or criminal-record contents —
  only whether a required check was done and when it expires.
